Roxanne Takken

Who are you?

My name is Roxanne Takken, I’m 19 years old, and I compete as a U23 for W.V. Schijndel in various cycling disciplines, primarily cyclocross, road cycling, and, since this season, gravel. Besides cycling, I study human movement sciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Which cycling discipline has stolen your heart?

Gravel! It’s wonderful to ride for hours on unpaved trails, away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by nature. The combination of adventure, endurance, and technique is what really appeals to me. I also really enjoy climbing, which is often the case in these gravel races.

Which SR items do you have on your bike?

On my gravel bike, I ride the SunRace 11/42 and 11/46 gravel cassettes, ideal for long races with significant elevation gain. They give me the range I need to tackle even the steepest climbs, even when the going gets tough. For cyclocross, I usually use the 11/36 or 11/34 cassettes, while on my road bike, I usually use the 11/30. I also use the SunRace 12-speed chain!

Goal for 2025?

My goal for 2025 was to qualify for the Gravel World Championships. I already achieved this goal in March, so I adjusted my goals slightly. After my 4th-place finish in the UCI Gravel World Series in Turnhout, which qualified me for the World Championships, my goal was to finish on the podium at such a World Cup. I more than achieved this with a 3rd place finish at the UCI race in Aachen and a victory in Vianden, Luxembourg! I also hope to put in a good performance at the World Championships in my home country in October. A top 10 finish at the World Championships would be more than enough for my first gravel season.

Greatest achievements from the past:

  • Victory in the UCI Gravel World Series in Vianden, Luxembourg (2025)
  • Dutch Student Cyclocross Champion (2024)
  • 4th & 6th place Dutch National Road Cycling Championships Juniors (2023 & 2024)
  • 6th place Dutch National Junior Time Trial Championships (2023)
  • 2nd place Dutch National Student Time Trial Championships (2024)
  • Winner Kleeberg Challenge, Mechelen (2024)
  • 3x winner Kleeberg cross, Mechelen (2022, 2023, 2024)
  • 3rd & 5th place Dutch National Cyclocross Championships for Juniors (2023, 2024)
  • 19th place European Junior Cyclocross Championship, Pont-Château (2023)
  • 31st place Junior Cyclocross World Championships, Hoogerheide (2023)

Raymond van de Kruisweg

Who are you?

Raymond van de Kruisweg, riding for the Kruisweg Offroad Cycling Team.

Which cycling discipline has stolen your heart?

I raced motocross at the highest level in the Netherlands for 11 years. During my winter breaks from my motocross career, I competed every winter in a regional winter competition combining mountain biking and cyclocross. Without any cycling experience, I always finished at the top. After retiring from motocross due to a knee injury, I took cycling more seriously by competing in national races. In my first year, I immediately finished 3rd at the Dutch Junior MTB Championship.

Which SR items do you have on your bike?

Cassette Sprocket RZ800
12S, 11-34T, Metallic Silver
CN12X1 Chain

Goal for next season?

To be able to compete at the front again and hopefully with many podium places.

Greatest achievements from the past:

Selection for the Junior Mountain Bike World Cup in Albstadt, Germany, 2013
3rd place in the Dutch Junior Mountain Bike Championships 2012
Dutch MTB Team Relay Champion 2014. Several national victories, which also earned me several national Regularity rankings in both mountain biking and cyclocross.

Marcelino Oliver Foundation

Who are we?

We are the Marcelino Oliver Foundation, an organization that transforms pain into purpose and cycling as a true force for change. We were born after the loss of my father, Marcelino Oliver, in a cycling accident, and we decided to transform that tragedy into a lifelong legacy. Today, we lead the most inspiring women’s cycling team in the world, a project that goes far beyond sport. We are committed to sustainability, equality, and values-driven education, delivering a powerful message with every kilometer we ride. We don’t just train champions; we change lives. And we do this by connecting brands with people, companies with impact, and sponsors with stories that truly resonate. If your brand wants to be part of something bigger, welcome to a team that races not just for podiums, but for a better world.

Which cycling discipline do we like most / has stolen our hearts?

The kind of cycling that changes lives. Besides road racing, gravel biking, or mountain biking, it’s the kind of cycling that drives us and leaves a lasting impression. The discipline that inspires, creates opportunities, instills values, and builds a better world on two wheels. If we had to choose a discipline, it would be the one that makes a young girl’s heart beat faster when she dreams of the finish line… and changes her life the moment she gets on a bike.

Which SunRace components do we use on our bikes?

We rely on SunRace’s quality and reliability to ensure our bikes meet the demands of the toughest challenges. We use cassettes, chains, MTB cranksets, and rear derailleurs, all designed to deliver peak performance in every race. Every SunRace component not only powers our bikes, it embodies our dreams. Because if you want to change the world through cycling, you need partners who perform with precision, resilience, and passion.

What are our goals for the 2025 season?

Our primary goal for 2025 is crystal clear: to work every day to create real value for our sponsors. We want every kilometer, every social action, and every media and digital impact to be an opportunity to amplify their message, connect with their audience, and reinforce their purpose. Furthermore, we remain committed to what defines us: strengthening women’s cycling, developing the next generation of cyclists, promoting sustainability, and proving that sport can be a powerful tool for transforming lives. This season, we’re not just racing for victories, but to make a difference.

What is the biggest success we’ve achieved so far?

Our greatest success isn’t measured in podium finishes, but in lives transformed. We’ve helped migrant women, women with chronic illnesses, and women in vulnerable or underprivileged situations find freedom, dignity, and hope through cycling. Seeing Trhas race in Europe after escaping poverty, Milagro achieve her Olympic dream from Costa Rica, Giorgina overcome the barriers of diabetes, or Somayeh escape oppression and ride a bike for the first time—that’s our true podium. Every story behind our riders is a victory for humanity. Because we’ve proven that with a bicycle, you can change the world.

Preparations begin in November, and the first races will take place in March. The season concludes at the end of September. Our motto: we ride with courage, courage, and bravado. We respect each other within the team.

Together with the clubs, we’re building a solid foundation and a continuous learning curve from youth onwards. In addition to the WPGA for Elite/Promising players, the WPGA Juniors has also been around for 10 years. We’ll be joining them for the newcomers next season.
